Wildlife photography competition open for entries

- Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition now in its fifth year.
- A sustainability award will be dedicated to recognising captivating photography of local ecosystems.
- The exhibition runs coinciding with the reopening of the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery.
- Competition entries are now open, with winners announced at the exhibition's opening night.
- Selected entries will be available for public viewing from the end of October.
Wildlife photographers have until the start of December to submit entries for a local exhibition taking place early next year.
The Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition, organised by the Guernsey Arts Commission and supported by Mourant, is now in its fifth year.
Each time entry numbers have increased.
Winners to be announced on the opening night.
The exhibition is scheduled to take place in early 2026, coinciding with the new season opening of the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery.

Entry categories are: Birds, insects, Bailiwick animals, marine, patterns in nature, video and film (1 - 2 mins max.), pollinators (for the Barry Wells Award).

Photographers interested in participating can submit their entries via the Guernsey Arts Commission's social media pages.

From the end of October, the public will be able to view selected competition entries on the Guernsey Arts Commission website.
