- P&R proposes Alderney runway renovations capped at £24m.

- In 2019 the States had agreed to spend £12.2m. on reconstructing and widening the runway, a mirror of the latest scheme.
Proposed bus fare changes for 2026

- Environment & Infrastructure is seeking public input on proposed bus fare changes.
- Proposed increases include standard fares rising by 10p to £1.70 and pay-as-you-go fares to £1.25.
- Adjustments are suggested for family passes to align with the one-day unlimited journeys pass.
- The fare for late-night services remains unchanged at £5.
- Feedback on the proposals can be sent until 5pm on Wednesday 28th January.
Jersey and Guernsey Chambers of Commerce unite to enhance collaboration

Police Christmas drink drive campaign stops more vehicles and arrests more people

- During December 2025, officers stopped 576 vehicles as part of Operation Bauble.
- Thirteen drivers were arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
- The highest reading over three times the legal limit.
- Authorities emphasise the dangers of drink driving and promote safe choices during festive celebrations.
