New bus timetable from 7 September aims to improve reliability and punctuality of service

A new bus timetable for Guernsey will come into effect from Monday 7 September designed to improve the reliability of the island's bus services while maintaining and enhancing access to key destinations.
The changes were developed jointly by local bus provider Stagecoach and the States and see the end of the P2 Parish Link and route 60.

From 7 September 2026, bus passengers will benefit from more frequent buses and a new circular route on routes 51 and 52, enhanced links to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, improved evening provision by adding later services to main routes, a revised night bus network to provide greater coverage across the island on Friday and Saturday, and additional Sunday services throughout the summer.
The routes 51 and 52 services have been redesigned to create a town circular route with improved links between key community destinations including Guernsey Harbour, Beau Sejour, Les Ozouets Campus, Les Varendes High School and the Princess Elizabeth Hospital. These two routes will now operate hourly throughout the day, Monday to Saturday, representing a significant enhancement from the previous two-hourly service.
Additional Sunday bus services for the 91 and 92 routes have been added during the summer season, which starts from May half-term to the end of the school summer holidays. These aim to provide greater flexibility and improved access around the island at the weekend.
All four night bus services have been revised. The N1 route has been extended to cover the Rue Sauvage and Les Tracheries area, while the N3 route has been extended from L'Eree to serve Perelle, the south end of Vazon and the Frie Baton.
The S1 to S4 evening bus services are being withdrawn and replaced with later journeys on existing routes, while a number of low passenger routes — such as the P2 Parish Link and route 60 — have been withdrawn.
The changes follow engagement with the community.
The feedback received enabled the proposals to be reviewed, with some amendments which were put out to a second public consultation.
Stagecoach will be providing the island's bus stops with the updated schedules and material over the weekend of 5 and 6 September before the new services begin.
