Mapping and tracking the £21m. plus spending by States on land for housing
Click on the map to find out where the States is investing in housing projects and what the results are.

Last term the States spent £21m. securing parcels of land and property for a range of different types of housing.
It is expected to sign off on the already announced purchase of Leale's Yard for another £4.5m. to add to this portfolio.
But some of the biggest investments are yet to produce any actual housing units - failing to "get spades in the ground" was one of the major criticisms of the last States as what many perceive as a housing crisis bubbled to the surface.
Here at The Quarry we have produced a simple one stop snap shop of where that money has gone and what has happened so far, all based on answers to questions posed by Deputy Neil Inder which you can read in full here.
You can see the sites, the amount invested, the progress or otherwise, and link off to news stories that cover what was meant to happen and how that has changed over time.
The map is available in full screen with a data download option:
But that is just the start of it.
We will use and improve this data resource to track the promises made and the results delivered this term.
It is also going to help frame our coverage of housing - already we have seen questions being asked but not yet answered about key-worker housing policies, for example, which this data has highlighted.
This will be a live resource, but what ideas and questions do you have on this topic? Please drop them in the comments section below.
