Guernsey Museum at Candie will host a new exhibition featuring historical moments recreated in Lego bricks from 16th October to 31st December.

Brick History - Walk through history in Lego bricks, created by Warren Elsmore Ltd, will be displayed in the Brian White Gallery. The exhibition presents famous moments from history reimagined using the popular Danish toy, spanning from the Big Bang and DNA to cultural icons such as Mozart and Martin Luther King, as well as modern inventions including mobile phones.

The display features models of varying scales, from miniature recreations of Concorde and the Titanic small enough to fit in a hand, to a 1.5-metre square medieval castle complete with detailed activity scenes. Lego artist Warren Elsmore and his team have designed the exhibition as a celebration of shared human stories, struggles and triumphs.

Helen Glencross MBE, MA, head of culture and heritage services, said: "We are thrilled to be able to bring 'Brick History - Walk through history in Lego bricks' to Guernsey. Warren Elsmore and his team have an outstanding reputation for creating exhibitions that are both entertaining and thought provoking, and we know this exhibition will be hugely popular with local audiences and visitors alike. It is a wonderful opportunity to explore world history from a unique perspective and enjoy some truly impressive Lego artistry."
