Guernsey Museums to offer free entry in celebration of King Charles III's birthday
Castle Cornet, Candie, Fort Grey and the German Naval Signals HQ taking part in initiative on Saturday 14 June.

On Saturday 14 June, Guernsey Museums will commemorate King Charles III’s birthday with special free entry to all its museum sites.
Castle Cornet will be open from 10am to 5pm, featuring a highlight of the day: a 21-gun salute performed by the volunteer gun crew at noon, welcoming the public to witness this traditional event.
The Guernsey Museum at Candie will also welcome visitors from 10am to 5pm.
It will showcase the museum’s permanent collections alongside the current exhibition, “Guernsey Milk Tales,” which delves into the history of the Guernsey Dairy and the island's milk production.
Visitors eager to learn about Guernsey’s extensive heritage are encouraged to visit Fort Grey, operating from 10.30am to 4.30pm, as well as the German Naval Signals HQ, welcoming guests from 10.30am to 3pm.
“We encourage locals and visitors to take advantage of free entry this Saturday and come and learn more about our museums,” said Helen Glencross, Head of Heritage Services.
“We have activities and trails at all our sites and at Castle Cornet, our brand-new activity space underneath the clock tower at Castle Cornet has just opened – why not come and take a look?”
