  • Guernsey Air Display confirmed for Wednesday 9 September.
  • It will retain its evening slot after a successful move last year.
  • Organisers working to confirm this year’s line-up.

The 2026 Guernsey Air Display will take place in the evening on Wednesday 9 September.

Last year was the first time it had been moved to that slot.

Barry Neal, Flying Display Director, said: “A survey conducted on the evening of the display revealed two-thirds of visitors questioned said they had come to Guernsey purely for the event and they would return for future events, which is fantastic news for Guernsey tourism.

"We are thrilled that islanders and tourists alike enjoyed the new evening display last year and as a result, we are looking forward to working to this timing again for 2026.’

Organisers spoke to "approximately" 50 visitors, including people from Canada, Germany and the UK.

Due to the evening slot, audiences were treated to a pyrotechnics team for the first time as part of the display.

Other aircraft in the 2025 programme included a Pitts, RAF Typhoon and the RAF Red Arrows.

Organisers are currently working to confirm this year’s line-up and awaiting confirmation of the planes that the display has been allocated by the RAF.

It will take place from 6.30pm.

Natalie Davidson, Event Director at Black Vanilla and organiser of the Guernsey Air Display, added: “The feedback we had last year from locals has been so positive with individuals telling us it was the first time they had been able to watch the Display in years, families who had never been able to watch the Display together and hospitality businesses in St Peter Port reporting a boost in their mid-week takings.

“Introducing the food village on the Crown Pier last year was another success, offering an opportunity to support local businesses and adding another element to make the event enjoyable for both visitors and the wider local community. We are excited to continue building on this for the 2026 display.”

The Guernsey Air Display relies on the support of the local business community to fund the event, alongside a grant and an underwrite from the States.
