Grow has marked its contribution to a gold medal winning garden at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Grow's general manager, Mandy Mackelworth, presented the team with a copy of the gold medal certificate awarded to Burncoose Nurseries, acknowledging the charity's role in the acclaimed display.

At the invitation of the Cornwall-based nursery, members of the Grow team handcrafted two bespoke bug hotels in the charity's workshop, which formed part of Burncoose's garden stand, Over the Garden Hedge.

The Grow team - crew members Alex Adamson and Alex Houchard, horticulture manager Stuart Smale and Grow director Marguerite Talmage - was invited to Chelsea during the final two days of preparation and also attended the show's press day.

The group had the opportunity to help put the finishing touches to the Burncoose display before the world-famous event opened, describing the experience as "once in a lifetime".

The certificate will be displayed in Grow's Flourish Café for visitors to admire.

Mandy Mackelworth, general manager of Grow, said: "We are all extremely proud to have contributed to Burncoose's success.

"Their garden stand, was one of the highlights of the Grand Pavilion, featuring more than 500 plants alongside our two handmade bug hotels. Receiving a copy of the Gold Medal certificate is a wonderful recognition of the skills and dedication of our team, and we are delighted to display it in Flourish Café for everyone to enjoy."

Charles Williams, owner of Burncoose Nurseries, said: "I am delighted to present Grow with a copy of our Gold Medal certificate in recognition of their contribution to our Chelsea garden stand.

"Their bug hotels were beautifully crafted and complemented our display perfectly, highlighting our shared commitment to supporting wildlife and caring for the environment. We were also delighted to welcome the two Crew members, both named Alex, together with Stuart and Marguerite, to our stand to help put the finishing touches in place before the show opened."
