DFDS is set to launch a new ferry service between Guernsey and Jersey.
Berthing trials for the Tarifa Jet are taking place at the Harbour today, in preparation for the service's commencement on Monday 16 June.
The new route will then operate every Monday until the end of August on a trial basis.
Economic Development has approved this initiative to supplement the current Wednesday service offered by Brittany Ferries.
The addition of this new inter-island service, along with the investment in Islands Unlimited—which is now managing an inter island passenger ferry— aims to provide greater travel options and flexibility for residents and visitors travelling between Guernsey and Jersey.
