Channel Islands Pride is relocating to La Vallette Bathing Pools for its 2026 celebration, creating a new Pride Village overlooking the sea and Castle Cornet.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 12 September. Organisers say the move addresses capacity issues at the previous venue and will offer a festival-style atmosphere whilst retaining the character of the annual event.
The day will begin with the traditional Pride Parade gathering at the Rainbow Steps in Market Square at 1pm before departing at 2pm. Thousands of participants are expected to march through St Peter Port before arriving at the Pride Village, where celebrations will continue until 9pm.
The entertainment programme features 90s dance artist Angie Brown, Elle Vosque — runner-up on RuPaul's Drag Race UK — and tribute acts including Pink Pony, a Chappell Roan tribute, and Small Town Boy, celebrating the music of Jimmy Somerville, Bronski Beat and The Communards. Jersey's LGBTQ+ choir, the Lavender Choir, will perform alongside local artists and drag performers throughout the afternoon.
Beyond the Main Stage, the Pride Village will include a Silent Disco with sea views, a dedicated Family Zone, a Quiet Zone, community stalls, food and drink vendors, and arts activities.
Ellie Jones, CEO of Liberate and organiser of Channel Islands Pride, said: "This feels like a real step forward for Pride. We've outgrown our previous site and wanted to create something that felt more like a festival while keeping everything that makes Channel Islands Pride so special. The Bathing Pools give us the opportunity to create different spaces, welcome even more people and make the most of one of the most beautiful locations in Guernsey."

Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, a family, a visitor to the island or simply curious to see what Pride is all about, everyone is welcome. Following the Main Stage entertainment, two official Pride after-parties will take place. The weekend will conclude on Sunday with the Pride Pool Party at the Peninsula Hotel.
Organised by Liberate, Channel Islands Pride raises funds to support LGBTQ+ people in Guernsey through education, community groups, support services and advocacy.
