Autism Guernsey launches AG Night Ride 2026 and calls on islanders to get involved

Autism Guernsey is encouraging cyclists of all abilities to sign up for the AG Night Ride 2026, a unique evening cycling challenge taking place on Saturday 26 September 2026 from L'Ancresse Golf Club.
Participants can choose from three routes — 10 miles, 25 miles or 50 miles — making the event accessible for everyone from family groups and casual riders to experienced cyclists.
The fundraising event, generously sponsored by The Northern Trust Guernsey Charitable Trust as lead sponsor and BDO as ride sponsor, aims to bring the community together while raising vital funds to support Autism Guernsey's services and programmes for autistic people and their families across the Bailiwick.
Riders will set off from L'Ancresse Golf Club from 5pm, taking on one of three scenic routes around the island before returning to celebrate their achievement alongside fellow participants. Registration is now open at agnightride.org.gg.
Sean Cheong, on behalf of Autism Guernsey, said: "It's a fantastic community event and will bring everyone together for a very important cause. Every rider who takes part helps to support the work of Autism Guernsey within the Guernsey community. It costs more than £400,000 to run Autism Guernsey each year so every penny helps."
Mr Cheong added that the event caters to all abilities. "The event is for all cyclists from families to the experienced club rider. We're encouraging families and corporate teams to get together to take part.
"The 50 mile route will be a challenge, whereas the 10 mile route is fantastic for families. We hope everyone will light up their bikes and enter into the spirit of the event."
